How do I view my computer history on Windows 7?

How am I able to view my computer history on Windows 7? I was able to do this on Windows XP from the explorer or IE. I am able to view history on IE 8.0 but there is no computer history.

   what do you mean by COMPUTER history? not internet history?

   you can get to the event viewer from control panel/administrative tools
