@xs0ulLess i know this. but for basic users who dont know all that much about personalizing their OS and want the best performance to stability ratio, then XP is your best bet there. i actually JUST switched back to xp. not that ill never go back to 7 again, i just missed XP a little bit.

You can choose what you need, you know?
And the jump from XP to 7 was great, also for gamers that play acutal games – windows 7 is the better choice
Im just telling, XP is good too. But there won’t be big updates for XP also
you can close the sub menus also, that which you don’t need. And if you use 7 a week or so, you get used to the sub menus and it goes alot faster
There is another aero snap, hugal
Take the bottom of the window and drag it to the bottom of your screen, now this window is from the bottom to the top of your screen and you can also drag it to right or left and bigger it at the right and the left

@Markmikunda THIS is better! they combined the good things from xp and vista to make windows 7!
@Chi7es i agree with you for the most part. you left winxp out of the mix. and, while i did upgrade to win7 ult., winxp is still the most stable OS, and has better performance over both vista AND 7. this is because there are not as many visual elements in XP. and it is a bit easier to navagate your explore menus in XP, just because there arnt as many sub menus to screw around with. although i will say that XP and 7 have VERY similar User Interfaces.

when i hover over an application it takes like 6 seconds to appear…
you can also press “windows key” + “left arrow” to snap to the left or + “right arrow” to snap to the righ or + ” up arrow” to maximize
