How do I multi-select items to delete from the History list in Windows 2000 ?

At the moment I am selecting each item individually and then deleting it. A long and tedious task.

  1. Hold down Shift key while clicking each item to select consecutive items.

    Hold down Control key while clicking each item to select the various multiple items that are non consecutive.

  2. Do you mean the Internet explorer history of sites visited? If so, open windows explorer and go to documents and settings, administrator,(assuming you are), local settings, history. Pick a day, click in the right window, then on the edit menu above, click “select all”, or a and delete. If you just want to select specific ones, hold down the control key while your selecting.
