HP Slate Teaser Video (HP’s Tablet PC)

This is an official video from HP, showing off their new HP tablet computer, dubbed the ‘Slate’. This was shown during Microsoft’s keynote last night live at CES 2010 in Las Vegas.

   Lol ive had 2 iphones the old one and the 3 G S but it looks like the HP Slate will destory the tampon

   Actually Win 7 is really good with handling resources, even on a crappy computer like mine. And Win 7 has built in multi-touch support and Microsoft even made some of its Microsoft Surface apps available to OEM’s to put in their devices. They even have games dedicated to touch screen PC’s. This tablet will probably have the Microsoft Touch Pack as I said above

   I think will be just a netbook with a touchscreen instead of a keyboard.

   Running Win 7 will drain a lot of resources, the programs are those one that you can run on a PC which means they will consume high resources as well, both for battery live and CPU performances.

   The tablets don’t have much power already which means they will end up to performe less good then a PC, and maybe not even smoothly.

   At last but not least, Win 7 is not made for touchscreen but mouse, so are the programs.

    microsoft ftw! id choose this over the $500 iPod touch any day, though i havent seen everything it can do, im sure it will be better than apples
