whao thats shit cooling, 84 degrees is diabolical, i get better cooling with my stock dell air cooler.
Love the blooper reel haha hilarious LOL! godda do that more often
dude, dont forget that this was an overclocked system
It looks like it has thermal tape instead of thermal paste, and if it is thermal paste, it was WAY TOO MUCH. I would have wiped it off and tested with Arctic Silver 5 after as a sort of “what if” review.
wow, it cools worse than the stock air cooler.
45c prime 95 27 idle i have two pa 120.3 radiators running on a 790i ftw i swear thats what they are but my room at the moment is around 60 degrees
Wtf. 3.8GHz? Your temps are like 45c idle. Check your numbers again, son.
no idea on this one..
those are horrible temps for water my water temps on a 3.8ghz q6600 are 27c idle 45c prime 95
maybe its cause the cpu is overclocked

rofl, I have a Q6600 at 3.5 GHZ with an Asus Silent Square Evo ( air cooler ) at hit 70c MAX.

lmao you are fuckin retarded he oc’d his shit from what 2.4 to 3.5 or something? obviously it’s going to over heat you fuckin piece of shit my friend has this, and his cpu is oc’d from 2.6 to 3.2 and his idle temps are 20c and load temps are 45, I don’t oc my shit so i’m not worried about that you fuck face, right now during summer with my stock cooler my cpu idles at 60c and gets to 74c when I play cod4… so here’s a BIG FUCK YOU
Sorry, but were your mother and father related??
Did you not see the load temps on this thing…

to be honest, i have no idea
Really 10 years ago we had kryotech i know of and then came computernerd mach2. But what is a good phase cooler today??
agreed xD
Actually it’s a good cooler. but the problem is the heat ‘won’t really reach the top of the cooler. It has to be taken away at the cpu. ANd the only way to do that sufficient is by going sub ambient (phase or ln2) or water, making the temp difference between the cpu ihs and the cores large enough for fast heat dissapation. Really 100 degrees is alot. but 4.2 ghz is too…
ok then my source was wrong ^^
Well you can’t be talking about the cores, because intel website says max is 100 degrees. And it’s exactly that max which is programmed into the processor when the protection starts throttling. I got a rampage extreme 2. I believe it’s called v-protection or something.
that’s an awesome cooler
i’m using de coolermaster V8 ^^
thermalright 120 ultra extreme
